H.E. Dr. Irfaan Ali this morning attended the funeral service of the late Eshwar Vevakanand Persaud, CCH, also known as ‘Uncle Vic’ at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception on Brickdam.

His Excellency Dr. Irfaan Ali this morning attended the funeral service of the late Eshwar Vevakanand Persaud, CCH, also known as ‘Uncle Vic’ at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception on Brickdam.
President Ali hailed the veteran public servant as an “exceptional professional with great integrity”.
The funeral service was attended by several current and former Government officials and other prominent members of society, including former President Donald Ramotar and Minister of Home Affairs, the Honourable Robeson Benn.
After the church service, Persaud’s body was taken to his hometown in Rose Hall, Berbice, for burial.May be an image of one or more people and indoor
