President Ali visits family of child killed by bandits
His Excellency Dr. Irfaan Ali expressed his sincere condolences to the parents of the late Anthony Cort, during a visit to their home this afternoon at ‘C’ Field Sophia. He promised that he would do all in his power to bring the perpetrators to justice. President Ali spent some time at the home and embraced Cort’s mother Denise McPherson as she reminisced about her son’s life. The Head of State was accompanied by the Minister of Home Affairs, the Honourable Robeson Benn, who also expressed his sympathies and promised justice.
On Friday, Minister of Human Services and Social Security Vindhya Persaud visited the family and pledged the support of her Ministry to help them through these tough times.
