The Golden Arrowhead was hoisted this evening as the Nation prepares to usher in its 55th Independence Anniversary. The intersection of High and Young streets, in front of the Guyana Marine Turtle Monument, came alive with rousing cultural presentations and Military bands display. The evening culminated with fireworks that illuminated the night sky, captivating the rapt audience.
