His Excellency Dr. Mohamed Irfaan Ali, President of the Co-operative Republic of Guyana, and the Prime Minister of Kuwait, His Excellency Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah had fruitful discussions.
During the meeting, which took place at the Kuwait Mission in New York, the two leaders agreed to strengthen cooperation.
They also discussed several areas of mutual interests, including COP26 and oil and gas.
Vice President, the Honourable Dr. Bharrat Jagdeo; Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, the Honourable Hugh Todd; Ambassador and Permanent Representative to the UN, Mrs. Carolyn Rodrigues-Birkett, and Foreign Secretary Mr. Robert Persaud were also at the meeting.
