His Excellency President Dr Irfaan Ali and other CARICOM Heads of Government re-visited the Chaguaramas Convention Centre, in Trinidad this morning, where the historical signing that birthed the regional body took place 50 years ago.
At the venue, the leaders signed a letter that contains their collective vision for the next 50 years. It was then sealed and placed in a time capsule for CARICOM’s centenary celebrations in July of 2073.
The leaders also took part in a tree-planting exercise.
