Passport Application

Below are the procedures involved in applying for a Guyana Passport
Procedure
Please note that you must present the following upon the submission of your application.

• Completed application form along with two passport pictures
• Original birth certificate along with a copy
• For Married Females kindly present the original marriage certificate.
• Copies of the bio-data pages of your passport/s.
• Should the spouse not have Guyanese citizenship, then he/she will be required to reside for one year in Guyana before it can be obtained.
• For children born outside of Guyana, their original birth certificate along with a certified translation (where applicable) must be submitted.

All original documents will be returned to you along with your new passport/s.

Fees
Please be informed that the courier fee is USD$30 therefore, the total fee is;
Passport Fee= USD$70 per passport Courier Fees= USD$30 Total= USD$100.

All passport fees must be remitted to the Embassy’s Bank Account which is detailed below:

When you have completed the bank transfer, please e-mail us the receipt.
Please find attached the application form which has to be completed, adhere to the requirements that are highlighted on the first page of the application form. We have also attached a specimen of a completed Passport application form for your convenience.

As is shown in the specimen, the Applicant cannot sign as a Recommender, nor can the Diplomats at the Embassy sign as a Recommender. Please be guided accordingly by the specimen that is attached.

It is envisaged that you will adhere to all the requirements as pointed above when submitting your application.
Please include copies of every piece of the original document/s that is being sent.

Please send your documents (if residing outside of Kuwait) to us using only known couriers, i.e. FedEx, DHL, Aramex etc.
The process to acquire the new passports will take approximately 2-3 months.
