President Dr. Irfaan Ali accepted Letters of Credence from the non-resident ambassador of the State of Kuwait, further strengthening Guyana’s diplomatic and economic partnerships with Kuwait.
Ambassador Talal Rashed Al-Mansour of Kuwait met with the President to discuss key areas of cooperation, including agriculture, health, energy, food security, and Guyana’s Low Carbon Development Strategy.
President Ali emphasized the importance of collaboration among private sector organizations and welcomed the contributions that Kuwait could make to Guyana’s growth in mining, forestry, tourism, and construction.
Guyana established diplomatic ties with Kuwait in 1995.
