President Dr Irfaan Ali was, today, given a guided tour of the Guyana Pavillion at the Dubai Expo 2020 at the Al Wasl Plaza, Dubai, United Arab Emirates by Commissioner General for Guyana at Expo, Chevon Lim.
The Head of State was joined by the United Arab Emirates’ Minister of Culture, Youth, and Social Development, H.E Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan and a delegation from the UAE.
The President, who was accompanied by First Lady, Her Excellency, Arya Ali; Senior Minister in the Office of the President with responsibilities for Finance, Dr Ashni Singh; Minister of Tourism, Industry and Commerce, Oneidge Walrond; Minister of Culture, Youth and Sport, Charles Ramson Jr, Chief Executive Officer of the Guyana Office For Investment (Go-Invest), Dr Peter Ramsaroop and other officials, earlier, participated in the Guyana National Day where he delivered the feature address.
